Our Altaris comes from the vineyards located near the company headquarters.
The name Altaris is intended to tie in with the fact that Nice is to be the ultimate expression of Barbera.

Vinification and aging
Grapes are thinned and carefully selected. Careful vinification is carried out with a maceration of about 25 days.
The wine is aged for about 16 months in French barriques.

Sensory notes
It has an intense and persistent aroma with hints of dark berry and hints of cinnamon. The palate is firm, intense with great body with distinct tannic notes and a pleasant toastiness.

It goes well with important first courses, meat dishes, game and aged cheeses.
